Forming part of Henry VIII's fortification programme, Deal Castle remains a popular centrepiece in the town of Deal. The castle (or Fort) albeit small does have a complex tunnel system below.

Deal Castle is a 16th-century coastal artillery fort, located in Deal, Kent, England, between Walmer Castle and the now lost Sandown Castle. It is now in the care of English Heritage.
